Akili Interactive is a clinical-stage company that creates prescription video-game treatments for cognitive disorders. Combining game design, neuroscience, engineering, and regulatory know-how, they turn clinical evidence into therapeutic games. Their main product, EndeavorRx, is an FDA-cleared, prescription-only game to improve attention in children with ADHD. Akili is developing additional games to treat other neurodevelopmental, neurological, and cognitive conditions by targeting specific brain circuits with adaptive, immersive gameplay.
EndeavorRx
EndeavorRx is the first medication offered by Akili. It targets ADHD by using sensory stimuli and motor challenges to target areas of the brain that play a key role in attention function. This is achieved through playing a video game on the patient’s device.
